Power Plant V, Italy

This huge power station was built in the early 1900’s, and was fuelled by water that was stored at the top of the mountain it was located next to. Water was recycled back to the top of the mountain when there wasn’t much need for energy, and was stored again for peak times.

During WW2 the power plant had some serious damages the capacity was reduced significantly until its closure in the 70’s.
